Andrew now acts as the Chairman supporting Pauline in her role as MD of Kirkpatrick & Hopes. Andrew qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1990 and became a partner in 1995 before taking over the management of the firm in 2003. Andrew also acts as Client Director to many of K&H’s major clients. He has three children, Elizabeth, Alex and Theo with his partner Jackie. He is a (Manchester-born!) Man Utd fan and other hobbies include reading, cinema, music, cooking, personal development, and health & fitness.

Andrew Neale
(Accounts Assistant)

Andrew joined k&h in November 2007 as an Accounts Assistant.

Andrew feels that as there are too many Andrews at k&h, he spends much of his free time trying to decide on a new name but has not yet found one to suit!

In his spare time Andrew is teaching himself to play the guitar. He also enjoys watching films, socialising with friends and dreaming of holiday destinations that he’d love to visit. 

Andy qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) in 1994. He joined the firm in 2001 to head the taxation services department of the firm and is now tax director, specialising in advance tax planning services for high net worth individuals and highly profitable businesses.  Andy is also Client Director to many of K&H’s major clients and manages in-house taxation training matters.

Bernadette is the Office Manager and has been with the company since March 2000. Her duties also extend to personnel, client care, management of time and fees, and the general smooth running of the company.

Fiona joined k&h in November 2007 as Assistant Accountant, having previously worked in both practice and industry.

When not working Fiona enjoys looking after her husband David and baby daughter who both keep her on her toes!

Frances Sandelands
(Assistant Accountant)

Frances joined k&h in November 2007 having previously worked within an accounts team specialising in hedge funds.

Frances’s spare time is taken up with looking after her cocker spaniel puppy, going out with friends and family and watching films.

Jennie joined K&H in September 2008 and works on a part-time basis as bookkeeper.

Before joining K&H Jennie helped to run a construction company with her husband, doing all of the admin, bookkeeping and payroll.

Jennie has three daughters and a lovely chocolate coloured Labrador called Shadow.  Any spare time is taken up with gardening, working in her allotment and researching family history.

Karen joined in April 2002 and has a wide range of duties.

Karen’s three children keep her very busy with their after school activities and any spare time is spent studying or playing sport, especially netball.    When she has completed her studying Karen hopes to start the mammoth task of organising a secondary school reunion for her year.

Lisa joined Kirkpatrick & Hopes in July 2002 after gaining a BSc hons in Accounting and Finance from the University of East Anglia, and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant at the beginning of 2007. At the beginning of 2008, Lisa took on the dual managerial roles with K&H of looking after K&H’s own finances and helping to run the accounts and tax operations. She also acts as Accounts Manager to many of our major clients.  Lisa enjoys travelling and has spent time in Kenya, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Australia. In her spare time she  also  enjoys  running, playing squash, going to the gym and spending time with her friends and family.

Pauline took over as Managing Director in January 2008. Her role is to realise the company's vision for the future by goal setting, team building and systemising the company to achieve outstanding service levels.  She qualified  in 1989 with one of the Big Four accountancy firms whilst working in their main audit department. As well as being MD, she also acts as Client Director to many of K&H’s clients. Pauline is married to Ian and her spare time is taken up with looking after their four sons.

Stacey joined as an accounts assistant at k&h in 2007 with a goal of becoming a fully qualified accountant.

Stacey is an avid Corrie fan and in her spare time she plays for a local netball club and enjoys the cinema and going out with her friends and family.

Since retiring as an international sportsman, Steve has built his career as an accomplished, inspirational and highly committed marketing coach with a solid track record of increasing profit and transforming performance. He joined Kirkpatrick & Hopes in May 2004 as Marketing Services Director.

Steve is the author of two successful marketing books and is a keynote speaker providing 'cutting edge' speeches and business talks for organisations across the UK.

A first rate club standard tennis player, Steve takes a small group to Spain each year for a week of sun, sand, sangria - and tennis lessons. He is a member of the Kingsclere Tennis Club.

Steve has also completed the Three Peaks Challenge on a number of occasions, including leading a Kirkpatrick & Hopes team to the top of the Peaks raising a significant amount for Cancer Research.

Susan is K&H’s operations director in the accounts, audit and tax compliance department. She started working in accountancy in 1982, and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. Susan also acts as Accounts Manager to many of our major clients. She lives in Wokingham with her partner and three children. In her spare time she enjoys swimming and DIY as well as spending time with her family.

Teresa has recently qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant. Before joining Kirkpatrick & Hopes, Teresa worked for a small practice for a number of years, working in all areas of accounts and tax for sole traders and small limited companies.

When not working, Teresa's time is spent with her husband and young son Tom.
