Kate and Wills
No one does Pomp and Circumstance quite like the Brits. Our new Duke and Duchess of Cambridge managed to stamp their own individuality on their special day and I felt the drive in the open-top sports car was just genius. The Middletons live not too far away from me and for the past few weeks the area has been overrun with the paparazzi camping outside their home hoping to catch a glimpse of one of the family. I offered an interview but they weren’t interested!  I must say the Middletons coped with everything so well and have captured the hearts of the nation. Alas I didn’t receive an invitation, but I do know people who did! I haven’t got any inside gossip but the people I know who attended the service have said it was just magical and a day they will never forget.

And what about the other lovely couple? No, not Posh and Becks (but oh he looked just lovely didn’t he?). No, I mean the other stars on the day, Harry and Pippa. Watch this space…!

Garden Club
Who would have thought that there would be no April showers in April! Chris has been on watering duty and the seedlings are doing very well, ready to be planted out any day now. Stacey has already got her sunflowers planted so there should be a good show later in the summer.

Here is a pic of some of the team enjoying lunch outside in the May sunshine:

My birthday treats?
It isn’t really a birthday treat, but a nice treat nonetheless – I’m off for the weekend to a place far, far away!
