Locals prove themselves as Football Managers!

Football Fanatics had their chance at Football Management when Kirkpatrick & Hopes launched a Fantasy Football competition on their website last August.

Adie Williams of Reading FC was the first to choose a team, but with 200 teams registered it was Steve Hitchman of Thatcham that took away the winning prize of a trip for two to Paris after effective management of his team Norkolk N Chance gained him an overall 514 points. Steve also won Manager of the Month on 2 occasions. Second place went to local youngster Hayley Louise Bolton. Hayley of Tilehurst came second with her team Hayley United scoring 487 points.

June sees the launch of Euro2004, so for those already getting withdrawal symptoms form the end of the season have no fear. Euro2004 Fantasy Football is coming, with the chance to win a trip for 2 to Portugal, home of this years competition.
