A whole decade gone just like that…

27 March 2000 was a very important day for me. It was the day I joined Kirkpatrick & Hopes. In those past ten years there have been many changes at K&H including investment in technology and training, and the expanded range of expertise to cover services beyond the traditional core of accounting and auditing. We feel we now get more involved in our clients’ businesses on a deeper level than accountants have previously done. I can honestly say that in those ten years there have been more highs than lows. I really do enjoy my job and working with a great bunch of supportive colleagues.

As Office Manager my work covers a wide area, including personnel and marketing. However I do work as part of a team and am not a one-man-band and I feel my role is made easier with the help of my admin colleagues Mary and Karen (and, of course our resident Superman – he knows who he is!).

To commemorate my ten years’ service, Andrew Gray surprised me with a presentation of a beautiful arrangement of flowers and a box of yummy chocolates. It was a lovely surprise and I was very touched. You can tell from the photo that I was a bit flushed!
