What’s going on at K&H?

As I sit down to update my blog page, I’m listening to the radio and they are playing one of my favourites – Van Morrison’s Precious Time is Slipping Away.

It reminds me that we have entered a new month and 2010 has already started slipping away. Of course, that does bring with it thoughts of spring, daffodils, lambs and lots of nice things to come and make us smile. But our time is so precious and I don’t know about you but I’m going to make an effort to enjoy my NOW time – it is, after all, the only time we know we’ve got! As my dear old Dad used to say, “You’re a long time dead”. So whatever you’re going to do, enjoy it.

Well, what’s new at K&H this month? You could say it’s been Tax Return month; everyone has been busy meeting the deadline. But our highlight of the month must be a surprise visit from Lisa to show off her gorgeous baby boy. Naturally everyone was willing to take him off her hands for a cuddle. He is obviously very content, and didn’t mind us all cooing at him and passing him from one to another.

Now it’s time to give you a little reminder that that the first of our Business Development Workshops (BDWs) for 2010 will be held on Wednesday 24 February here at our offices in Theale. These workshops provide an introduction to four key areas that we work on with our clients: using accounts, saving tax, and improving profitability and business development using E-Myth principles. We get really good feedback on these BDWs and have already received quite a number of bookings for 24 February, so if you would like to attend please let me know as soon as possible. Find out more.
