The Cake Factor: K&H staff get baking

When Andrew Gray suggested to me that I should do a blog, I must say I was a little taken aback and more than a little panic stricken! However, having given it some thought I now feel that visitors to our website might just be interested in what our lovely team here at K&H get up to. So from time to time I will keep you up to date on any events that we are running and anything I feel might interest or amuse you. Of course I hope to hear back from you too!

Currently we are running a little competition in house called The Cake Factor. Over the past few weeks we have each had to bake a cake with our own fair hands and the rest of the team eat it and mark it out of ten. At 11 o’clock on a Monday morning, there is a stampede downstairs to make coffee, and then another stampede upstairs to see what delight has been lovingly baked for us. We’ve had some wonderful creations including chocolate cake, carrot cake, brownies, etc. but out in the lead at the current time is Frances with a delicious chocolate and fresh strawberry torte. The prize for the winner is that he/she gets to bake it again!

And from The Cake Factor to The X Factor – I must say that in a weird kind of way I will miss Jedward this week; I really must get out more! Have a great weekend.
