Our chosen charity for 2010

We are supporting the Theale Age Concern Tea Club as our charity for 2010. This is a small self-funding local charity whose members, many aged 80 – 90, meet once a week for tea, bingo and a quiz.  Occasionally they have a guest speaker, go out for a celebratory lunch or go on an outing. We hope that our efforts will in some small way help to make life a little easier for them.

On Thursday 1 April we are sponsoring a cake sale and coffee morning and a children’s Easter Bonnet competition. The K&H team have all committed to baking cakes for the sale and will be very hands-on in serving tea.
