The Chancellor’s Autumn Statement

On 6 December, the Government produced its Autumn Statement with details of draft legislation to be included in the 2012 Budget.

Topics are quite technical and cover such areas as residence and domicile, capital allowances on property purchases, restricted EIS relief on solar energy companies and research and development proposals.

To be honest, there is little of interest for the vast majority of businesses. For those interested, a PDF of the proposals is available as a download from our Resource Library.
