Sometimes I am inclined to take things or people for granted. They are consistently good, so what can I say that makes it sound like I have recognised the value? “Yes, you are as good as usual,” doesn't really cut it.

The requirement for an Annual Meeting to discuss the accounts is an opportunity to tick some boxes, and sign on the line, and since I already know what the accounts will show, then there is not much to get excited about.

Except...

Last week during the quiz night at the Pub, (we came second!), I was talking to a friend, and at the end of the evening he said, “I wish I’d had an accountant like yours when I was in business. You haven’t stopped talking about his ideas all night.”

Sometimes I do take things for granted and, perversely, sometimes I don’t want to give the impression that I am totally happy. (After all, there may be a bit more to offer.)

So...

Although I have never bothered to fill in one of your feedback cards, or make a snappy comment on your website, I would like to record my total satisfaction with the service I get from all parts of K&H. I don’t always want to take your advice, but your proactive stance is refreshing and shows a real interest in the business as a whole.
