Roslyn (Roz) joined us in April 2011. Roz’s main role is Bookkeeper, looking after K&H’s own finances and also assisting with other general client accounting duties. 

Roz previously worked with one of the top 10 accountancy firms in various roles including Credit Controller, Tax Administrator and more recently as an Accounts Assistant. She obtained her AAT qualification and membership with the AAT. Roz is also Secretary of the Berkshire AAT branch. 

Roz lives in Reading her husband and daughter. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, playing the piano, making beaded jewellery and relaxing with her family.

Poppy joined us in November 2009 as an Accounts Assistant. She spent some time with us in early 2008 on a temporary basis and we are all delighted to have her back with us permanently.

Poppy has recently finished her A levels in accountancy, economics and maths and now wants to train to become a fully qualified accountant.

She is a keen golfer and is a member of Goring Golf Club; she also supports Reading FC.

Bernadette is the Office Manager and has been with the company since March 2000. Her duties also extend to personnel, client care, marketing, and the general smooth running of the company.

Coming from a football crazy family, and lifelong supporters of Man United, Bernadette enjoys a good game of football and visits Old Trafford as much as possible.

Spare time is taken up socialising with family and friends.

Having raised her family, Mary spent several years in Human Resources before joining Kirkpatrick & Hopes in March 2004. Mary divides her week between working in reception and assisting Jackie in the payroll bureau.

Chris joined K&H in March 2006 as an Accounts Assistant with the ambition of training to become an accountant, and is now an Account Manager.

Chris is a sports enthusiast and has played football for the Theale team since 1994. He is also a keen cyclist and cycled from John o’ Groats to Lands End during his 2009 summer holiday.

He also enjoys playing badminton and watching Grand Prix racing.

Stacey joined as an accounts assistant at K&H in 2007 with a goal of becoming a fully qualified accountant, and is now an Account Manager.

Stacey is an avid Corrie fan. In her spare time, she plays for a local netball club, and enjoys the cinema and going out with her friends and family.

Elizabeth joined K&H in June 2008 as an Accounts Manager. She has had many years’ experience in both practice and industry dealing mainly with owner-managed businesses. 

Elizabeth is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

In her spare time, Elizabeth enjoys the theatre, music and spending time with family and friends.

Teresa has recently qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant. Before joining Kirkpatrick & Hopes, Teresa worked for a small practice for a number of years, working in all areas of accounts and tax for sole traders and small limited companies.

When not working, Teresa’s time is spent with her husband and young son Tom.
