Business Development Workshop

The Business Development Workshop is designed to give our new clients, prospective clients and any other business owners an opportunity to really start to understand exactly what they need to know to take their business to where they want it to go.

The Workshop is a half day programme of today’s latest business thinking.  The Workshop is divided into four sections and each section is outlined below and covered on the day.

Our team of four highly skilled experts will guide you through the morning.

Session 1     Interpreting the Numbers

National research conducted by AVN shows that most business owners do not understand the information contained within their accounts.  At k&h we want to ensure that our clients are able to access the valuable information contained within their accounts.

During this guide to helping you to make the most of your accounts we will review a set of actual accounts and help you to see the problems the business faces if it continues to trade in the same way as it currently is doing.

Session 2     Taxability

As accountants one of our missions is to help our clients to pay less tax.  We take you through a process of identifying your tax strengths and weaknesses and provide you with a variety of tips to ensure you pay the minimum tax possible!

Session 3     The Simple Stuff that Works

SSTW is an interactive, multimedia software tool that helps business owners do the simple stuff that works to grow their sales and profits. It features video clips of real business owners explaining how they have used a range of proven, tried and tested practical ideas and learned new skills to help them grow and develop their businesses. At the end of our session together, we give you a report setting out how you can use these ideas in your own business and how much more money you will be able to make.

Session 4     Why most small businesses don’t work and what to do about it?

This session is an intensive and highly structured service built around the seven-point business development process developed by Michael Gerber, author of the E-Myth Revisited.

Giving you an opportunity to step back from the day-to-day running of your business and look at the big picture.  During the session we will watch a video of Gerber sharing his views about what being in business really means, we will examine your role as a business owner and provide you with insights into how your business can give you more life.

The cost for each person attending is £99 plus VAT.  However k&h clients can attend for free and a limited number of free places are available to others as part of our support of the National Campaign (http://www.thenationalcampaign.co.uk).
